EDOARDO DAL BONO

Napoli 1841 - 1915

Son of the writer Carlo Tito, he been encouraged to painting, music and leterature.Since he was young he drawed illustrations for magazines and books, he get known in 1857 with an exposition in Naples winning the silver medal. He studied in Rome pupil of Marchettiand in Naplespupil of Morelli and Mancinelli. He took part at the Repubblica dei Portici (Repulic of the porches), painting small open air markets and old architectures. He work in Paris during 8 years for Goupil.
